My husband and I are in a "reduce" phase of our lives and are taking a week off to sort through our stockpiles of stuff in our storage room. Part of that will be to sort through all of the craft supplies that I have gathered over the years.
Obviously, I would prefer to donate my used/unused supplies that I no longer want.
Can anyone recommend a cause/website/local charity? I'm in Raleigh, NC.
Have you thought about donating your stuff to a local school, nursing home or preschool? My mom is a teacher and most of the time she has to use her own money to purchase art and craft supplies.
I donated much of my unused/unwanted craft supplies to a local school for disabled children. You could check out some of the groups on Yahoo, like Freecycle. I have donated stuff that way as well, and not just craft supplies.
